Forget my words, whenever the guitars don't do chuggah it sounds limp

I like the title track. Stuff like that is great to shake up their formula.

The new album was better than the singles indicated. But I don't know were my rating will fall. It's gonna be interesting. The Chant was boring though

Amazonia has great potential, but the choru's riff is sooooo weak

Agreed. Amazonia starts out quite interesting actually. It's cool when they do some of the trival stuff, but their attempts as being catchy kinda fail

New album is weak tbh, like I expected.

Easily their worst, most tracks try to be really grandiose and just go nowhere.

I think I like it more cause I have no point of reference. Only heard Toxic Garbage Island, Art of Dying (fuck yes) and track 1 - 3 from this.

im sure ive said this before but man... mario's drumming used to be so much more dynamic on older albums, constantly playing fills and varying things up (but without ever sounding like a techdeath tryhard)

New album is ejnoyable and gets your booty moving, but ultimately nothing feels particularly important, and I felt like the songs could benefit from a minute or two added to them, so that they could stretch their legs and explore the different directions of the riffs.

But that's just the first impression, so maybe on repeated listens I'm going to love it.

eheh I mean rating this on 3 and 2.5 I don't see how you could enjoy the new one. SO you guys are just too predictable.

I'm just one of those dudes that still manages to like when some bands go mainstream, as I did to Emperor of Sand f.e.

To be honest the minor gripe I have with the new one, was the attempt of using the old riffs into the new songs. They still sound great, but they offer me that nostalgic feel. I definitely would embrace an album full of Into the Storm(s) and Lowland(s).

Going mainstream is fine if the songs are actually good

Yea, I did not feel like the songs here did much. Like, TWOAF had the songs go somewhere
