Thought Hayden was one if the best parts if ROTS tbh.

Hayden improves a lot though in comparison with AOTC. He even nails some scenes, like where he communicates with Padme telepathically with the force.

"The only bad thing about it is Hayden Christensen"
I don't think anyone could save the shit he was dealt with, but in my eyes he's a good actor and that is because of every part which where's emotion when words are not being said. The part where he Padme and him are looking into the city, no words being said solemn music in the background is the best part of the entire prequel trilogy.

He's not nearly as bad in ROTS as in Clones but he's still not great in it.

Ugh Hayden was absolutely atrocious imo, as well as Natalie Portman surprisingly so, cause she's a great actress. They ruined scenes that could have had incredible emotional depth but nope, he had to scream "YOU WILL NOT TAKE HER FROM ME!" like that lol. It didn't help how Lucas' dialogue was usually mediocre. Thank the lord for John Williams amazing score in that movie.

The ROTS novel is strangely greater than the movie, if the movie were as good as the book I'd rank it above The Force Awakens.

He was super cringe in Clones, awful. Never has a movie said so little with so much, only part which I really give a shit about is when they enter the stadium onwards. Plus those tanks with giant wheels and rockets are love, such a cool design.

Natalie Portman was just screwed over by the shitty dialogue. She did the best she could.
Hayden Christensen is both a shitty actor AND had to perform shitty dialogue, so his parts are even worse.

Yeah the ROTS novel is a must read for any star wars fan, adds so much to the story.

Honestly I thought he nailed the scene where his mom dies and then gets all angry and kills the sand people, one of my favorite scenes in the whole saga.
|
| |
The storyline, the soundtrack, the visuals and everyone else's performances in ROTS are great, though. For me, it's easily the 3rd best Star Wars film.

Thankfully, that absolutely jaw dropping fight sequence at the end of ROTS. Damn that fight is still amazing. I agree with the music too. I thought ROTC honestly had the best music out of all the movies. I've always found the originals soundtracks to be overrated a bit, though still entertaining. It just had more emotional weight in ROTS.

It's a great story bogged down by less-than-stellar performances and some slightly off pacing.

It's pretty good. My favourite Star Wars fight scene is the one between Luke and Vader near the end of The Empire Strikes Back.
Also, what's ROTC? lol
|
| |
Yeah, it's the second best lightsaber duel in the franchise save the one between obi qui and maul here.
|
| |
You're fooling yourself if you think Empire is anything less than the best Star Wars movie.
|

That one's definitely up there, Spirit.

Well it is haha It's just phenomenal
