Band is a good example of quantity over quality. They have some good stuff, the earliest releases predominantly. They suck at metal and prog

i get gripes with the bands songwriting, especially when it comes to how the guitars invariably follow the vocal melody, and how many mediocre melodies they contort into songs in general. Also yeah some of their forays into metal and prog are very gaudy and garage-y (the music equivalent of gamey).
But every melody on this album is great, and every song moreover has the same driving chugging consistency to it that makes it hypnotizing and fun somehow. Methinks yall are understating how fun the band is in general, in spite of the peasant formula they use.
Though yeah, i also understand the apathy sput elitists hold for anything the gormless fantano redditing runts of the internet unabashedly love and claim as the next cumming of jesus
