So anyway I checked this and first impressions were that it's very pretty and glittery and long. Sounds like something I could gradually get into over time or randomly 5 a year and a half from now because I listened to it on a clear starry night and thoughts happened. Who knows. For now it's a 3.8.

Basically yeah.
It's a bit wallpapery in parts imo but I'm also not a huge ambient fan so that probably doesn't help, and some of the more poppy tracks are a bit cheesy but it's far from an unpleasant listen, I just have to be in the right mood.

if you want to get into hammock just do it chronologically. Stylistically they're not that diverse tho so it kinda doesn't matter.
