The Ides of March by Ordinance is pretty nice too. 2016 release, mainly melodeath but with some tech influence. Lead vocalist is pretty talented.

Yeah man Heir Avid is a beast. Did you ever listen to Rest Among Ruin's Fugue album from last year? Mike's other band that is a little more poppy but also really good. Reach the Edge and In Another's Skin are great.

its obviously better than but reminds me of archspire and other similar bands who write really fast stuff but the riffs arent that nuanced or as quality as other great tech death imo
keep my ear to the ground for the new album
