Anyone know why the drummer left the band? He was a founding member and apparently the brother of the main guy.

Agathae is one of my favourite songs of 2016 by far. Stunning musicianship and composition, and so fluently beautiful. This album gets better and better every time I listen to it, but the clean vocals do ruin it here and there. The only minor flaw I can find however.

Parts of quite a few songs here have been playing in my head most of this week. Some of the most memorable guitar parts I've heard this year so far. Really like the sound on this album, which to me is a sort of blend of certain parts of Agalloch and in particular Alcest, with some death and prog flourishes. The clear and full production is a nice touch also.

This album rules. I don't like it as much as Classica or The Blue, though.

Haven't heard those yet, but if they're anything like this I'm almost sure to dig them. Was thinking about checking out The Blue some years ago but never got around to it.

The Blue is basically just a better version of this. Classica is overall their best; it has a ton of variety, and it doesn't overstay its welcome.

Deserves higher than a 3.9 average.

The guitar work is stellar here, they achieved a kind of "serene/atmospheric" wall-of-sound with the multiple layers all mixed perfectly.

Agathe rips so hard it could go on endlessly

Everything Swano touches sounds golden (from a mix/mastering point-of-view)
