If I ever reach 99 albums 5'd here then I'll bump this as my 100th

Just watched the documentary again. If anyone still has any doubt that this guy was real they need to see that now.

Bermondsey Stutter may be better than anything on Crazy on the Weekend. Simply one of the greatest songs ever written.

Most of it is just Gav and Shane Meadows putzing around and reflecting but it's essential viewing for any Gav fan.

Been listening to Gavin most of the day

And then I just watched that documentary ..

God it makes me so sad and angry. He should be here still

Bless his soul

The part where he starts to play and screws up and starts cursing really gets to me, and the way him playing in his living room segues into him solo on stage with Hard Sun playing is so powerful.

Boney, like Gav speaks words of truth.

"Bless his soul"

Lark, like Gav has a soul that burns bright.

Good lord, Open & Shut Case is just too gorgeous.

Oh how I wish I could seen this man perform live.

2 in the bastard morning and just walked in from work. Cuddled the missus and now jamming Gav. Life is all ups and downs.

I was really confused for a second there but haha yeah that's neat.

Matt Berninger and Gav would've probably gotten along well. :-(

Been feeling some Gav lately and realized I haven't given this enough time so I put this on instead of COTW. I've been underestimating the songs on here that aren't "Bermondsey Stutter." "Spotlight for Sunshine" and "The Russian" are both phenomenal, but then that's par for the course for Gav.

I take a paper-thin existence, and let it burn...

Does a 4.5 count as giving in?

(I'm holding off on rating it on Sput b/c I'd rather keep that average at least a 4.7... fond memories of when COTW averaged that high)

I don't think this is as heart-shattering as Crazy
