I don't know... 2016 could be the big year of the decade.

Nothing is going to surpass this album. This is probably his best since Low. It just has a higher meaning now than Scary Monsters. Unlike Innuendo, this album shows no major signs of weakness. This is probably the biggest sudden death in music since John Lennon at least in my opinion. Micheal was sad yes but his legacy is tarnished due to pretty much a new posthumous album being released year after year. The same with Johnny Cash. Mercury was a huge loss but Made In Heaven was meh. Now, in my opinion this would be the most shocking death since Lennon if they don't milk Bowie's corpse dry. The thought of it makes me cry.

Lazarus is probably Bowie's best song since like 1977

1977 is a bit of an exaggeration, but if that's your opinion...

I love that song and China Girl but Lazarus is his best since Sound and Vision off of Low imo.

*edit: There are ads for Keith Richards new documentary which will suck and why is he alive or even Iggy Pop when Bowie is dead?

The Idiot is untouchable and his version of it has a lot of emotion to it compared to Bowie's. BTW Fripp, I got Outside for 5 dollars on Amazon.

because it is, he did it simply to help out Iggy Pop, who was essentially broke when Let's Dance came out.

Bowie was a co-writer btw, for the most part it was all Iggy

Bowie being a co-writer is the reason why it's not a cover

it's just his version of the song, if he co-wrote it it's not a cover

guess we just disagree on that, I just simply see it as Iggy's song really

as said on We Prick You - "You show respect, even if we disagree."

I guess, it's not even about Bowie/Iggy for me it's just general music terminology, cover is not the right word for that situation
