Good day to Die

Chasing the Dream

Swing Low

Massively subject to change and there's a racking guilt of having second coming 3rd from bottom.

Yeah I do as well. Me ranking is a nonsense. Top 3 are in check and then all the others are joint 4th.

'Animal' is the only slightly average tune for me mainly because it just sounds like so many other 90's grunge influenced songs.

All the rest are essential

Yeah, it's still really good vocals and lyrics but it's just a type of song I know so well. I'm struggling to criticise this album.

I think this is safely tucked inside my top 5 albums now - Infected, Ok Computer, Kaputt, Trouble Will Find Me and this....not necessarily in that order either

It's taken 15 years but Ladies and Gents has been knocked off its perch.

Loving the top 10, no National in there is a bit of a surprise.

Rest of my top 10 would be: Remain in Light, Laughing Stock, Siamese Dream, Tindersticks (first album), Boxer

No Bowie, R.E.M, Mercury Rev or Floyd made the cut...fierce competition these days

Yeah I agonised over High Violet and Happy Songs for Happy People squeezing into the top 10 but Radio Friendly Unit Shifter won.

Siamese Dream would also be top 20.

The lack of love for Monkey Dead is a baffler.

"Monkey I knew once is dead" bass, the subtlety that runs through this whole album "I ain't even sure I can make it through the night" back into the groove.

Love it!!!

Strings, "The silver clock chimes off again, reminds me of my childhood pain and the burden that was lifted when I made it to the city"

It's that voice, the man has lived it and communicates it spinning gold.
