I heard this sounds like Agalloch going post rock, is that true?
|

Need to jam again. Wasn't that moved first listen
|

SLG yeah I can see that, vocals reminded me of Agalloch for sure

I really really like what I am hearing. Very delicate melodies and the harsh vocals do not seem forced at all

From what I've checked so far, yeah it seems the vocals are a little bit similar. Instrumentation is totally different though (since it is post rock)
They both perfectly bring that winter-like atmosphere though

A really beautiful album. The only think that really bothers me are the soundholes between the songs (on my version at least) since it's all intertwined.

looks neat

"It is ironic, then, that Kholat Syakhl is a transliteration of the local name meaning 'Dead Mountain'."
Don't mean to be pedantic, but isn't that coincidence, not irony?
(Sorry for such a nitpicky comment xD)
