"The right" systematically laying a finger on religion is just a way to seemingly find the source of an event such as this, by ignoring so many undeniable facets of the situation.

Not okay to blame video games at all.
Gun laws are a okay thing to blame for school shootings because it's young people easily obtaining deadly weapons to deal with their frustrations.
Racially motivated murders whether victims are white or not DO mean something is wrong with society. If they are killing because of race it is because society or their environment has taught them to hate just because of generalization. I do hate lefts who are in denial though. Like saying a minority can't be racist.
There is a lot wrong with ideology. I dislike religion. My family is muslim. Although they'd never hurt a soul. Which is what is wrong with generalizing. You're going to put a giant negative stigma on my family just because of some dumbass extremist group. To clarify, they're (the extremists) not true Muslims.
