I loved Roads to Judah and Sunbather, would I like this?

'“Baby Blue” is an exercise in complete disarray, with some experimentations working better than others.'

Thank you for accurately describing Baby Blue. It is probably my least favorite on the album, but I've seen a lot of people dismissing it as pure shit.

it's not a 100% thing, but it's like 80% likely you'll enjoy this if you loved both of those. personally i love all three, but i've seen a few folks say they loved the first two and were turned off by this one

This doesn't sound like either one too much imo, but yeah you'd still probably enjoy this.

I think they absolutely nailed the sound they were going for here.

I agree Hawks, I'm a little sad that this is getting kind of beaten up, I love the whole thing

Nah bro it's really not, most people seem to be enjoying it from what I've seen so far.

It's getting beaten-up because it should've by all rights been amazeballs but wtf is that Baby Blue junk rrggghhhhh. I might just pretend this is a traditional 4-track bm album and ignore it completely. Make it a whole lot easier to 4/5 it.

I still expect this to get stellar reviews but the audiences will be pretty cray. I mean this album had extreme hype behind it.

Yea this band gets fantastic reviews. This is one of those bands that gets lots of undeserved troll hate.

It'll get nowhere near the positive feedback as Sunbather did and for all the correct reasons.

Yeah it won't be as acclaimed as Sunbather, but I dig this almost as much. Def their most bm album and I think that's why I dig it even more than I was expecting too.

Also think Baby Blue gets too much hate, I love it tbh.

This is better than Sunbather, imo. Feels like there's a bit less theatrical wank involved.

Idk bro, this sounds way more bm than Roads to me.

Not saying that Roads isn't bm, but this has a more bm vibe to me.

that's cus roads is just trems and blasts the majority of the time but with a happy guitar tone. (Which I really appreciated btw.) Whereas this is like, less of all that but with chuga chugas here and there and a heavier tone.
