Meh. At least they have a nice back catalog, right?
|
| |
it doesnt help that i dont give a shit about the story theyre telling. it was cool for the first record, after that it became redundant.
|
| |
does this album have one random awesome song like letters home did with bastards 'cos if so i'm interested in that specific track.
|
| |
not really
|
| |
i like unanswered and spared in hell, but bastards is waaaaaay better
|
| |
yeah i just tried unanswered and it was fun but jesus fuck "i was a good man once" is the most defeater lyric i could possibly imagine. like borderline self parody.
|
| |
"remorse" is a good one too, probably the best on this, reminds me of "quiet the longing" in some way, but more boring just like the whole album
|
| |
Jesus, their Nirvana cover is awful, particularly the vocals

"everything this band has made after lost ground is kinda meh"
so true. Their first two works were their best and only really interesting material. People will argue EDASN but I don't find it that good.
|
| |
Empty Days is the same pile of shit that their last two records are, I don't understand why it has such a high average
|
| |
I like it as an okay album but I never understood why it's so loved like it is either. It has it's moments more so than their newer albums have right now but it's nothing special.
|
| |
It's got a couple of great tracks but it's surrounded by the most uninspired writing. Likewise, the last two records have one or two songs that are interesting and the rest is just by the books

Empty Days is their best imo. Travels is great, but EDSN shows way more variety. It also helps that I dig their acoustic songs.
|
| |
Variety? Most of the songs sounded pretty much like the next with little substance. The first three tracks are great though

lost ground is easily their best. travels has some jams too but the rest of their stuff is quite uninteresting
|
| |
listen to glintshake asshole

Dunno what you guys are talking about. Lost Ground is probably the strongest, but Travels through EDSN were all excellent. They're just beating a dead horse with their whole sound and aesthetic at this point, though.
