Chainheart just has lots of cymbals. but none of the blast beats mind you

chainheart is a LOT heavier than this. not sure what blast beats have to do with it, but there are blasts there too

btw everyone who enjoys this type of fast melodic pop metal should check out Mutiny Within's debut, plenty of catchy hookz and leadz

Chainheart has blast beats and the sound overall is much more gritty. I like that one more than this.

Chainheart Machine is their best[2]
well maybe it's not "pop metal" but you know what I mean, the overall sound is far from something I'd call heavy, and all those catchy clean choruses and standard song structures... not saying that's the reason I don't like this, I dig some similar stuff. I 2.5d because this particular album does nothing for me, it's not that bad, I just get bored of it after a couple of minutes

I dunno...had to lower my rating. This got old kinda fast.
The components are are all here and all very well done but I'm not feeling it (as much as I want to).
Gonna go jam some TPP m/

Only jammed this once so far but it was pretty good. Nothing amazed me but it obviously needs more listens.

The bonus tracks are pretty sweet too. And Father and Son reminds me of The Flameout, the intro riff especially. Obviously better tho

Listened twice, kinda felt like Soilwork on autopilot. Don't get me wrong, it's awesome, but it no way tops The Living Infinite.
