Oh yea I should have known.
Well after hearing the whole album once I must say it's very good.
I think it was necessary and helpful for them to be more melodic this time around. Your enjoyment of the album as a whole might very well rest on how much you dig the clean vocal choruses.
Not saying cleans overshadow the harsh stuff but there is more emphasis on cleans this time around.
The 2 bonus tracks are very cool. IMO the pace of the album would likely be improved and the scope made more epic if those 2 bonus tracks were put in with the main album. 'Mandatory Sacrifice' after 'Dielectric' and 'Enhanced Reality' after the title track.
Overall very cool. We may not be thinking straight if at this point we expect better material from Fear Factory than this, and I mean that in the best way possible.
Along with the excellent newest Scar Symmetry record and the instrumental cybershred and others coming out lately my library of singularity, robotic, cyber music is growing well. Awesome!

So Mandatory Sacrifice is a remix of the title track... I got confused because it just said Genexus remix so I figured it was referring to the album not the song.
Still it is so mixed and cut up and with a different production than the rest of the album that I had no clue it was based off the title track.
