"This >>> Thirteen"

Well Thirteen is barely better than Super Collider, so that's a given.

This is a frustrating one - almost really good instead...not quite

This is an acceptable release but hardly great by any stretch. I'm not even too crazy about Endgame tbh.

I would have rated Endgame lower if it wasn't for the initial one-two punch, Head Crusher and the closing track.

Yeah. It's hella overrated honestly. Quite good imo but lacks the charm and wit from their first several albums.

That's for sure. Tracklisting is what saved it imo, if the tracks I mentioned were all in the first half I would have rated it no higher than a 3.5. Ironically I prefer to look into UA for the occasional jam.

I think in general, the big four aged the worst of the thrash veterans although Worship Music was a pretty awesome comeback for Anthrax.

Worship Music is a little overrated though, it felt too commercial

Worship Music isn't bad at all but hasn't much replay value...

I disagree. Easily the most ear-worm worthy of the big four comeback releases.

-In The End

-The Giant

-The Devil You Know

-The Constant

replay value = hell yus

Endgame is definitely Megadeth's thrashiest since RIP,but it's half as good. The riffing and all is great, but it feels tried-and-true. I'd even take So Far So Good over it tbh.

That's understandable because So Far is significantly better. Would be a 5 if Anarchy was another track as powerful as the others.

I hate Dave's singing on Endgame - not sure why it was so awful as its fine again on Thirteen

Honestly on the fast material I thought the lyrics struggled to scan, were weak and rambled

Thought his voice was finished but his vocals save Thirteen, his best singing performance since the 90's

I generally find something to enjoy from his vocals in all the albums I care for, I sincerely like his singing voice.

Endgame had his best vocals ever, he's regressed again since
