Never thought I'd love a leviathan album as much as "The Tenth...." But I've listened to this record twice a day, everyday since it came out and I'm not even remotely close to being sick of it. The last three tracks flow together like a trilogy and it's awesome.

Yeah, I enjoy them because they're bleak without being overtly melodramatic talking about the third full moon of a frostbitten winter.

Yeah, I'm also really enjoying the new Ghost Bath (even though I think it's catching a bit of flack on here for sounding like a poor mans Deafheaven but I like it better than Deafheaven).

Been meaning to check out Ghost Bath on a rec, but I really had no idea what to expect. So it's like deafheaven?

In a sense...I hate making the comparison cause I dig them way more than Deafheaven. Solid production, good melodic riffs, prominent drum sound, typical harsh vocals is the best description. I'd recommend their new record to anyone into black metal. I'm surprised there wasn't more hype on here for its release.

I agree so much, even though Wrest basically took the riff from ...And A Slave and just developed it even more. Who cares tho since it was already fantastic to begin with

Yeah and then it has that horn bridge near the end and then when the riffs come in, it's transformed from black metal riffs, to a more pinkish progression. It's awesome.
