If the band did a Meshuggah - Nothing type of deal with re-recording some of the instruments and remastering, it could easily be perfect. The music and songwriting itself is flawless, and I even like the production and mixing, but so many of the technical aspects (out of tune guitar solos, floppy snare, etc.) can bring down the experience.

Yeah it does. And if you're referring to the dissonance in the solos, I'm pretty sure they did that on purpose. Otherwise it would be hilarious if they didn't notice it in the studio lol
