This record definitely isn't a 3.8, and while it isn't exactly saying a lot it is the best record the band's produced.

Actually that's what surprises me the most after hearing that time and again for a year. I think Love is better. This is definitely more cohesive, but except for some songs in the second half it is cohesively average for me.
