Don't know, 9 has one brilliant song (9 Crimes) and about two good ones, everything else is pretty much zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Always been partial to a bit of Damien Rice, given he's a fellow countryman.

I'll see how I feel about it come December, but right now this could be a late AOTY. Or I could be just all
gooey-eyed.

My break down of this is 4 superb tracks, 2 good, and 2 "ok" ones. But the strength of the album's highlights combined with the overall atmosphere makes this a 4.5. I don't personally think of it as a classic, but it's still one of the absolute best albums of 2014.

What are two ok tracks on here Sowing?

The only song on here that I don't like as much as the rest is I Don't Want To Change You which is still superb in my opinion.

For me:

Pretty much perfect - It takes a lot

Damn great - The Box, Greatest Bastard, t/t

Good - I don't want to change you, colour me in

Ok - trusty & true, long long way

Yeah Trusty and True is the weakest by far, and Long Long Way isn't the strongest closer.

The rest is masterful though.

It's gorgeous and all, but it's too long and drags a bit IMO

My ranking would be:

1. Colour Me In (emotions man)

2. The Box (almost as many emotions)

3. It Takes A Lot To Know A Man (arguably the best song on the album)

4. Trusty and True (so damn lovely)

5. My Favourite Fade Fantasy

6. The Greatest Bastard

7. Long Long Way

8. I Don't Wan't To Change You

damn that was hard to do
