L've been listening to scarlet letters, spitting better, blinding lies tonight !! i have to admit

that he doesn't really sound like a drum machine at all and the're a monster bass tone !!all over

the cd the production is better than every anacrusis album for sure !!I think dwtp beat the first 3

anacrusis record easily but the real question is Does it get better than screams&whispers !!only time

will tell !!

--btw hope you realise that manic impressions is one of the most unique and genius thrash records ever made--

I totally agree.

Aside from the many disappointments involved with the recording of that album (including firing the
engineer before I began mixing) I love the Manic Impressions album and I do know many fans feel the
same way. I think it is definitely the most cohesive album we made and the performances are as
flawless as we could ever have hoped for. I also am very proud of the material on the album. Although
lots of my very favorites "songs" come from Screams, Manic may still be my favorite Anacrusis album
overall. That depends on my mood though.

This thread is awesome srsly, thanks Kenn for dropping by!

Still haven't fully digested this one, I'm like on my seventh listen. Most likely this will end up being a 4 but yeah it keeps growing on me so you never know. Also, I can dig the production I mean once you get that these are drum machines it's all cool.

i probably gonna write a review about dancing with the past in a very near future!! first,do no harm first do no harm.. how can you still screams like that ?? So happy because the album doesn't sound like a 80's trash revival and it,s so diverse

"technical metal and symphonic elements that dominated Screams and Whispers but the tempo, atmosphere, tones and emotional angle all scream Disintegration"

This had me very curious to check it out, the idea of this sort of combination sounded awful/ ridiculous. But listening to this I totally see it, and it is awesome.

I'm loving this album, wish it got more exposure! Nobody seems to be talking about it, but it's easily one of my top albums of the year.

It's true. I wish it had received some sort of label backing. Basically, the only people that really knew this existed were the ones on one of his Facebook pages.

It's definitely on the long side... I tend to skip certain songs depending on my mood, which shortens it considerably.
