I don't think there's that much genuine emotion here. Cuomo's a pop songwriting genius. Everything's
calculated. Didn't they demo like 200 songs for this album? How can there be any emotion in just picking the
11 best out of hundreds? Wikipedia is where I'm getting that number from, but from what I've heard of Weezer
recording sessions in the past, I really don't doubt it.

Again, I love Weezer and I love this album.

Lol Lakes I thought your Weezer ranking was pretty bad too. Let's agree to disagree. :]

Idk if you're a songwriter yourself, Kr, but the amount of songs you write doesn't really drain the emotional potency. If anything it grows exponentially. I've also decided that the only song here I don't like here is Lonely Girl.

deathschool I am a songwriter! Check out my pop band's debut album!

Generally I agree with what you're saying, but Cuomo's an exception. He writes songs by following a formula.
200 songs is a stupid amount.

i don't understand why maladroit gets so much hate. slob, burndt jamb, slave, december, death and

destruction, take control are all such sweet-ass weezy jams. it's also the best the rhythm section has ever

sounded, in my opinion

It's probably the best production they had for a not shit album.

I hate The British Are Coming. I don't understand what everyone sees in it, personally. Tracks 1, 4 and 11-13 are fantastic, though

This is one of those albums where nothing will blow you away, but everything is still good though.

The ratings seem really high, and I can't help but wonder if that's not just because it's Weezer and it's not shit.

Am I the only one that loves the opener and thinks it's one of the best on here?
