Carnival is absolute bliss. That chorus is amazing.

Sweet fucking god, I'm only giving this a fair shot now?! I think I've fell positively in love with this album over the past week or so. Their newer LP is a little more challenging for me to get into, but an album like this is almost impossible to follow.

Every single member is audible, given time to shine, and contributes to the sound. They're all so tight. The songwriting is INSANE. The melodies! This sounds like it comes from a band who'd been playing together for a long, long time.

Just impulse ordered it on vinyl. It also happens to have one of the best pieces of album art I've ever seen. Lovely. This is just nice. I'm so happy I found this.

And I'm so sorry to brag, because I only ended up looking into these guys (despite reading their name for years) because they're coming to Edmonton with Protest the Hero and Closure in Moscow. I think....I think this is my dream lineup. So lucky. I hear they kill it live.

I got to see one of my dream lineups with these guys, Glassjaw, and Coheed & Cambria a few years ago. Only problem was TYS only had like a half hour set, so they got to play about 4 songs, I think.

They are phenomenal live, yes.

Everyone's seeing C&C time after time and I'm just waiting for them to play a damned show here! They played in 2008 and I missed it. They supported Iron Maiden in 2012 and I wasn't going to buy Maiden tickets. Crickets since then. Headline Western Canada guys!
Oh well, I get to see Thank You Scientist, so that's a start.
