Those songs are great agreed, the title-track is quite cool too, although for me this definitely doesn't beat most of their other albums

Bond alone beats the whole All the wars album.

Reaching Out ist a song of no importance. Pretty boring, repetitive and too long.

@lightbulb The bassline and the solo is so sweet though... IMO. I probably just say that cos it's reminiscent of their older stuff

Of course IMO. Always IMO :-)

But let's speak about All the wars: (IMO!!!) there are 3 very good songs: Warm seas, All the wars and Someone pull me out. The other 6 are boring me totally.

On the new record I also found 3 excellent songs : Alone At Sea, Magnolia and the wonderful Bond. But the difference is that the other ones are much better and less boring (IMO!!!) than the rest of All the wars. The only weak song on Magnolia for me ist Breathe, it's a typical All The Wars-song... :-)

Wait, what about Burning Pieces???? That's the best song on the album imo, the chorus and solo are amazing. Last Man Standing is brilliant too, great chorus and bridge man

Yeah Last Man Standing is one of their best songs ever imo. Apart from Build a World there's nothing boring in All the Wars for me

For me the music on the whole All the wars album is too heavy, the songs are too similar. The 7/8 and 5/8 rhythms can be interesting but not in 8 songs on one album. I find the new stuff more varied.

There's way too much bland and repetitive use of 7/8 on this imo

I gave an other chance to All the wars nut in didn't satisfy me. I think Reaching Out is totally overrated, after a good beginning the song declines to a everlasting repetition. I like the less heavier songs but the whole thing is too monotonous for me.

Magnolia is much more satisfying, melodious an rhythmically varied. The songs are more different from each other. I leave my score at 4,5.

Overrated? Most users think that, I just think it's brill and crafts an atmosphere better than anything on this. Each to their own though

I adoooooore you

Reaching out is one of their best songs but overall this is an improvement over all the wars

Yeah, it would definitely be within my top 10 or something. I'd say this is the same as All The Wars
