Okay I think this album is like a mash-up of FM Static and TFK. The first half being TFK and the 2nd half FM Static. FM Static is Trevor and Steve's side project band. I do like the sound of Oxygen though. Like a Machine, Untraveled Road, I See Red, and Oxygen are highlights.

Really I like I See Red with that real cool sounding guitar intro and that bass line starting at 0:41 along with Steve's drums. I feel my feet and head banging to this song.



And Oxygen is the strongest slow song on the album, with another cool guitar intro. and like the strings added in the song.



The weakest to me is Give it To Me and Light Up. Especially Light Up. And Set Me Fire does not fit on a TFK album. Maybe a Kutless album!

Those two are my favourites actually. It feels like they break the mold of mediocrity on here. I agree that Light Up is not everyone's cup of tea and that it's not a Wish You Well either, but atleast songs got a character. Other stuff is too predictable for me.

This is uninspired, but also totally bloodless. I've rarely seen a radio hard rock band with so little energy.



"Untraveled Road" is two Linkin Park songs: taking the clapping intro from "Given Up" and the chorus from "New Divide" and everything in the middle is autopilot mid-pace filler.

So this band has usually been a pretty decent band... wtf happened?
