nah i just really didn't dig this album/band at all. their ep was pretty cool.
this is like crown the empire trying to be some rock opera shit.
the intro is absolute cringe
other mentions of the concept throughout the album (pa system voices) are just lame.
initiation is a decently heavy yet concept heavy track
then you get to the second track millenia and it's like the whole thing just went out the window
YOUR LOVE WAS JUST A DREEAMMMMM
then theres a piano track followed by the heaviest song on the album so you're pretty much like "wtf" at that point.
the rest of the album afterwards was pretty forgettable no thanks to the lame title track (ALL WE ARE ARE RUNAWAYS - run-run-run KEEP RUNNIN away) and completely lackluster and unnecessarily long closer
i see what they're trying to do here and i can appreciate the attempt to break out of genericore but this album is pretty meh overall. extremely cheesy and almost impossible to relate to
