I think this is one of those albums where a rating between 3 and 3.5 is just so easy

This is one of those albums where you look att the album art, and the music reflects pretty much exactly what you see. I would get this album on vinyl for the cover alone.

This album is like a living, breathing, organism. I'm really digging it, but I don't think I would enjoy this live as much as their BM shows.



Also, every listen for me has been a "what song is that melody from?" game, which I think is a cool concept for an album.

After lots of listens this falls somewhere in between a 3 and a 3.5. There are days when I need to throw something on in the background to chill out to and this is perfect, but when really focusing on the music here it just kinda meanders for an hour (or however long it is). I very much like the "Sound" here though, but it goes on for too long. This atmosphere would be awesome in between or incorporated into some solid Cascadian BM.
