i miss it too but
i think that for the direction theyve chosen to go in, super catchy metal/hard rock, this is basically the best thing they couldve done. basically the hunter but actually good

I agree with Pleb, I was hoping for a direction perhaps a bit more recessive. Revisiting past successes isn't necessarily a bad thing. I always felt something was missing with The Hunter, and from what I've heard of this so far, that feeling doesn't seem to be anywhere near as problematic.

A lot of reasons, one being that I didn't acknowledge Asleep in the Deep as the best song on here. For some reason I also spent a main paragraph talking about how they were trying to copy their own song Oblivion in half of the songs, which I don't hear when I listen to this now.
