You know Verm, those kinds of people on here don't do that sort of thing that often. That's only about 10% of the sites userbase, if anything less than that. And if they are those types of people that troll that way by just creating an account to 1 or 5 certain artists then by all means, report it to the mods. You can't just 90% of people who have an extremely opposing opinion than yours to be nothing but worthless scum because they disagree with you.

@ Into

I think they put more effort into it than into Hybrid Theory back then. Not that this makes it a good album, but it is definitely not "cheap".

Is Verm actually implying that the reason people are uneducated and poor is because they dislike

Linkin Park due to it being the 'cool' thing to do?

I don't think you're understanding what I mean by "cheap.". Of course they put effort into it. I'm just saying it's never a good idea to go back and recapture something that disappeared a decade earlier. It reeks of desperation, and it's honestly pathetic.

Ummm..... yeah, a lot of their original fanbase did. I know a lot of people, including Sputnikers, who love their frost 2 or 3 albums, but cant stand what they've been doing lately

Including myself. But still I don't think they recaptured the sound. It feels very different.

It's not the sound I'm talking about. It's the fact that they are using teen angst in their late 30s to try and grab their old fanbase back.

Come on, you gotta say they are more mature on here compared to HT/M. But I get where you're coming

from.

I agree, but that's what you get with age. Power/emotion falling, maturity/lyrics/ songwriting skills growing. I prefer the first stages most often too. Until 35-40 it's all good most of the time though.
