After revisiting Mayhem's discog recently I've concluded that Hellhammer is somewhat underrated in his craft. Or maybe it's just me, I never see him get the praise he deserves behind the kit



And yeah I agree very underrated album. Arguably Mayhem's second best studio album and maybe even Atilla's best vocal performance on a Mayhem album

As far as I know, he was almost always considered the best BM drummer.

When Dimmu were actually putting out new material people wouldn't shut up about Hellhammer. He's well-known and fairly acclaimed so I wouldn't say he's anywhere near underrated.
