pretty fun. Greg was running about and crowd surfing when not playing guitar. you prob wouldn't have liked it if you didn't like the album though, it didn't sound very different at all.

Haha it was cool man. Me and my mate got right at the front for all the bands we wanted to see, Judas Priest, Exodus, Fear Factory, He Is Legend, etc.

2 day format was sweet because the bands all had longer set times. Unfortunately there were a lot of technical issues, but overall it didn't affect the experience too much.

There were no trains from the Showgrounds, they had buses to take us to a nearby station, which could have been a disaster, but because we left early both days there was absolutely no problems. All worked out really well, and we stayed at his sister's apartment for the night rather than having to take an hour long train journey there and back home and there and back again.
Had a really great time.

Will probably blog in some way, shape & form in the next couple of weeks on it guys. I was also at Melbourne day 1. Of course, I probably saw none of the bands that the cool metal kids saw.

And tempest, I skipped 1 song right at the end (in my case, Fall Out Boy's 'Saturday')... And that was enough to get that bus.

As I only attended 1 day, I don't really want to do a review as such. It would kind of feel incomplete. So I'll try and do some kind of wobbly video compilation to give everyone nausea.
