Yeah there's like 3-4 really good songs and the rest are formulaic and borderline annoying. Album was big let down for me.

Fuck the production. This could be a 3.6 or something if I could hear the drums.

Indentions is the only track from COPE that I like better than its counterpart in HOPE. They nailed it on this album

Not sure why everyone hates this, this album fucking rocks. Granted, I’ve only listened once and need to spend more time with it, but most of the time, albums grow on me with those initial subsequent listens. Gonna be at least a 3.5 from me, possibly a 4. First three songs slay.

I don’t know. This may be a bit one note, but I still think it’s up to snuff with their other work. Certainly not their best album, but still very good.

It's very one note, with few highlights, and Andy sounds pretty mad most of the time, frankly. Way too much focus on making a 'heavy hit you on the head over and over' album (or whatever their build up was) and not enough on songwriting.

A fair analysis, but I guess I just like more of the songs. There are about three tracks I find pretty forgettable, but other than that, I really like it.

At least a 3.5 for me, maybe a 4. Gonna give it one more listen before I slap a rating on it.

This continues to grow. A 4 coming on, I can sense.

Just listened to After the Scripture on the Cope Deluxe versionand holy shit, what a beautiful song. It’s a damn shame they didn’t put it on Cope somewhere because it would have changed my 3.5 to a 4.

Never Really Been Another Way Out is a fantastic song as well, and would have been one of (if not the) best song off Cope, along with Top Notch.
