Tremor Christ is up there for sure. Same goes for Immortality.
Hans, this is probably my favorite, i really like the more experimental cuts here, which were kind of a gateway to No Code - which i also find amazing and underrated haha.

In my defense, almost no one likes any album as much as I liked Ten when I was growing up. I was PJ fanboy top 100 at the time. I mean I fucking worshipped that album. VS is damn close. When this dropped, I was impressed at first, when I bought the album, I was fucking pissed at all the filler tracks. I guess its stuck with me 22 years later lol.

Fair enough lol.
This actually didn't leave much of a big impression on me when i first checked it out, but upon repeated listens i found myself coming back to it way more than Ten, and even Vs. to an extent.

When this came out, Betterman and Cordoroy were all over the radio. I didn't buy it day one like I did Vs. So I figured it would just be another typical classic PUJ album. Then I heard Bugs. And Satan's Bed. And Tremor Christ. And Heyfoxymophandlemamathatsme. Fuck those songs.

I thought this was class when it came out, I loved it. Satan’s Bed rules.

Those are my favorites, lol. This pretty much marked the end of my interest in PJ.

Their best album, ten great tunes on this dunno why a couple of joke songs would get in the way of anyone’s enjoyment.

‘Vs’ dated really badly but this still has it.

Their first three are their best. I don't think Vs sounds dated tbh, but I love Pearl Jam so

Agreed VS is every bit as great as this one. I even think it aged very well

In ‘93 the intro to ‘Go’ and the riff behind ‘Glorified G’ sounded quite tough to me...now? Worth a chuckle, very cheesy and powderpuff. One of the most dated albums of the ‘90s for me.

Glorified G is intentionally cheesey. Go still sounds absolutely fucking sensational.

‘Glorified’ is intentionally cheesy yeah, ‘Rats’ is intentionally cheesy too, and maybe ‘Animal’...hmmm, a lot of 🧀

‘Daughter’ and ‘Elderly Woman’ are ok but cheesy. ‘Leash’ is cheesy.

‘Go’ is cheesy but fun. But cheesy.

Kinda bad how overlooked this and Vs. are when compared to Ten.

‘Ten’ had something about it. ‘Vs’ was the muddled follow up with a few ‘Ten’-worthy tunes (Release, Dissident).

This ushered in the old-before-their-time PJ but they still had some bile left in the tank that needed to come out. What followed was alright but a bit boring.

If you could apply the performance, vocal style and raw production of this album to ‘Vs’ I’d probably like it twice as much.

‘Ten’ we leave alone how it is.

Ten is pretty much perfect.

Also, Jeremy has one of the best music videos I've seen.
