I just sent this via email to Quentin Tarantino, hoping he's gonna use a song in one of his future films.

Previously he listened to my recommendations and actually used Gheorghe Zamfir's The Lonely Shepherd (a popular song from an artist from my native country) in Kill Bill. Didn't receive any credits for it but I'm glad he liked it. : )

I wonder if the cult-like lyrics on some of these tracks were influenced by Justin Marler who played guitar early on before becoming a monk. I mean yeah, Al did Om afterwards, but still. There's a super consistent theme around Sleep's lyrics - holy stoner caravans and astral rituals.
