'it's a bit of a dick move, true, but it's still an album and this is a site based around reviewing albums, so even if the truth (or rather, what the reviewer thinks) can be harsh, it's no less important and valid than any other album. Also, personally, I'd rather receive negative feedback and being told what's wrong with what I do (properly), than everyone else being put in that "don't say bad things about him/her or you're a dick" position"

Agreed, but this doesn't even really tell me what's wrong, it's so general.

Gotta invest in some microphones, guys. I know that skramz is often recorded in lo-fi but maybe the ideas (or some of the chords, at least) would come across better if they didn't sound like they were recorded into a trashcan, because I'm sure they weren't written/hard jammed in the context of crap recording quality. Lo-fi on this demo just obscures whatever it is that makes this not a totally homogenous piece of skramz (if that exist). Having said that, there are parts of this I like but again, if they weren't so damn muffled, it might actually be awesome.

i mean ya a lot of the negative things said in this were pretty vague and really should have been expanded upon but negative criticism is like on of the most important parts of the creative process wtf

Dude just add some like comparisons to other bands. If it's generic, who does it rip off? Also going into detail about the genre could be useful as well. Explain how's its repetitive or generic in the context of the album

This sentence seems to completely contradict the review/rating. You say there are some positive aspects (without really naming anything) and that the album is mainly negative (again hinting that there is some good to be found here) but then go on to bash it for the whole review (and like Spirit said, never going into much detail about the bad either) and rate it a 1. If there is good to be found on an 8 minute demo seems that right there the 1 is exaggerating.
