Ec, the 1975 are very catchy, but can be so in an annoyingly repetitive way. Take a listen to 'The City' for a good example.
I liked the 1st BB LP, but have yet to listen to the newie. Haim a while to win me over, but eventually did. Really solid for a debut.
As for BBC, I've recently gone through their entire discog. Man, they definitely can't make the same album twice. Again, their newie slowly won me over, but those guys are just too ambitious for their own good to make a consistent LP. Their newie may just be their best though. I'd say it's a 3.6

Me too. It's in my Top 20 - if not 10 - songs of the year. Just saying that it's a bit repetitive & many find that annoying.

I was thinking of telling you about the album, expecting you to love it. oh well
album really grew on me - the first six tracks are killer. then again, my weakness is female vocals + british accents + tasty electonics

Believe it or not, it's still coming! I've got the rough ordering done, but need to re-listen to them all to bed them down, add comments, etc...
The thing with BBC's female vocals is that neither lady they use are technically part of the band (from memory). And don't forget to add London Grammar to that list.
