Fantasy widdly stuff is listened to by Belarusians bearing mullets, denim jackets and fuck all taste.

"Go listen to Psychotic Waltz." - "OK."

(5 minutes later) "So I listened to Psychotic Waltz."

It’s like you’ve already listened to this

Oh shit, ‘I remember’ sounds like a G n’ R ballad...a flutes just come in!

Imagine - ‘Propaganda hide you scum!’...epic flute solo

"The other sounds like Bruce Dickinson warbling over some chug-a-lug with expressive lead guitar work. I’m hearing words like ‘kings’, ‘masquerades’ and ‘sabbath moons’ - Fantasy widdly woo stuff."

"Fantasy widdly stuff"

The only song that strikes me as particularly "fantastical" on A Social Grace is Another Prophet Song but even then, it isn't about that.

Tbh album wasn’t terrible - I’ve listened to a couple of worse Maiden and Priest albums

The closest Sepultura came to a flute solo is on ‘Roots’ in the song ‘Ambush’ when they stuck some sort of panpipe noise in the middle of the rainforest and then killed it

I really don't get why GnR is your point of reference when Slauter Xstroyes, Crimson Glory, Fates Warning, Toxik, etc. are far more applicable given how the band actually writes.

It’s settled, I just read this:

Psychotic Waltz aka...uh oh...wait for it.....Aslan

Aslan lol, nearly named after a character from Lion, Witch, Bedknobs and Broomsticks

Sepultura aka Prince Caspian of the Kingdom of Bonaparte

They were 50/50 but in the end just plumped for Sepultura because they thought Prince Caspian of the Kingdom of Bonaparte would be trickier to reproduce on their merchandise

Yeah, no idea what possessed them to choose that name of all things.

Album is good enough for at least a Doof 2.5 so there’s that

It's like some of the gritty thrash of the previous two crept into some of these tunes, and the grooves kick total ass. "Nomad" is a sick tune. m/
