Dylan's vocals are rough. He is freewheelin'; I'll give him that.

His vocals aren't the best but they're brilliant at conveying the emotion or mood behind his songs, which is really all that matters.

Good review Jamie, there is a good deal of filler on this, but the presence of 5 masterful classics is minimum 4.5 for me. Talkin World War 3 Blues is pretty hilarious lyrically as well.

Thanks dude. I certainly can't deny the brilliance of those 5 classics but the abundance of filler really does affect how I rate this as an album. Still jam it regularly though cos of those 5 songs (and I really like Bob Dylan's Dream too).
