@alabasterjones I think there are probably only six tracks worth listening to frequently on the album, but that's enough for me. This is an album of singles, and it's a damn good one.

these guys got into the top 40 without me knowing

The Mother We Share went to No. 38, album I think went to No. 8 or 9
| |
the synths and drums and vocals come out so awkward on the bridge to gun but its works cause it makes it even cuter

wow that was amazing 5/5
| |
this is getting radio play? damn. also, why did they pick "mother we share" ? recover is clearly the single
| |
i see mother we share as the single, probably because in all the ads ive seen on youtube its been of that song
| |
right, but i'm saying they should have picked recover to be in all the youtube ads. its so immediate and attention grabbing, its built to be on the radio
| |
definitely agree with the immediacy of recover i can see where you're comin from.
| |
they actually released an ep called recover (with recover on it) back in march so maybe they wanted something that was exclusive to this album as the single
| |
to me this is hardly better than most radio-ready pop music... don't have any desire to listen to this again
| |
science/visions was kinda cool, but other than that... bleh
| |
damn... do you think the vocals are cute though?

and they released mother we share in december of last year so what are you even trying to say
| |
vocals are cute, but usually not a feature i look for in a band

Yeah guys sorry my taste is just too elite for this radio friendly crap
| |
it has nothing to do with "elite taste" I have some guilty pleasures, I have never been a fan of overly poppy melodies though and this is ripe with them
