I can dig it. Sounds a lot like Emarosa, old DGD, and akissforjersey all in one

I don't agree with the DGD comparison at all haha, this band has nowhere near the level of fun and technicality that DGD have
|
| |
Ehhhh...Fun? Yes. Technical? Not much. Idk, I guess the fun part is kind of a matter of opinion though..

no I mean like an off-kilter sense of humor
like these guys take their music and their messages seriously, whereas DGD just play glitchy and not-too-serious music
|
| |
Ohhhh my bad, just misunderstood. Yeah DGD embrace their goofy side for sure.

The clean vocals are just similar I think. At least sounds that way to me. They're not nearly as upbeat as anything off Downtown Battle Mountain or anything like that but the vocals are similar. They're definitely closest to the clean vocals of Akissforjersey if nothing else

Being a drummer myself, it's rare that I like an album with uninteresting drum parts. This is one of those albums... I mean the drums aren't bad, in fact they fit nicely. They allow the singer's part to shine without stealing his glory.

Drumming is average for sure, but the singer is heaps above average.

I thought the hooks on this were so catchy though, but I can see where you're coming from.
