Ghost was definitely the best of his records and I enjoyed it quite a bit. The way he creates those soundscapes is amazing and brilliant

I would probably go for Ki as my favourite because it's the darkest and sexiest of his stuff, and mixes the softness of Ghost with his heavier material which I also enjoy. But Ghost has been embedding itself in my subconsciousness as of late.

That's cool, Ocean Machine is the general fan favourite of his fans. I can see why, the four-song-run that ends it is just beyond this world.

Nah Ocean Machine is kinda like post-rock/metal riffs but mainly clean vocals, not sure how else to describe it.

It's also bullshit. The guy was once a shredder and you don't get that far while knowing absolutely nothing about theory or scales. He may not actually pay attention or worry about the scales or notes he's playing, but if he knows what he's doing.
