We all have fair opinions.
But this isn't good.

How exactly?

Well to start, Shannon really takes a back seat which I don't appreciate. He shows some amazing drumming skills on their first three. Jared's voice just doesn't sound natural anymore and it has a complete lack of good tracks besides City Of Angels. Plus I HATE Conquistadors and Up In The Air. Not the worst record ever, which I believe I've said many times before what the worst record ever is, but this isn't it haha so I'll give it that.

Well, Jared's voice was never really great to begin with. In fact he auto-tuned his vocals in some of the songs on their last record, though he also did the same with this record. And Shannon doesn't truly take a back seat entirely since he does have some production skills (Convergence was a great track btw) and he did some synth work on this too (though most of the synth was Tomo).
I honestly considered this to be their most ambitious work in a way, and they fixed some issues on their last album, like the Summit problems (Vox Populi is a prime example). And how can you hate Conquistador? It probably the least techy song on the album. Up In the Air I can understand though. I mean granted I'm calling this their best album but I don't think it's their worst.

and yeah, the album cover sucks

Jared ruled on the first two albums but I'm not surprised he used autotune on This Is War. I don't see how you could find this ambitious in any way tbh, it's just the same old crap over and over.

I disagree about Jared's voice. He shows fantastic chaps on their first two. Which tracks did they auto tune on their last record? It's def not Hurricane cause I've heard him almost completely duplicate that song live. Song is fucking awesome.

Vox Populi, Night of the Hunter, Kings and Queens, Stranger in a Strange Land (though that song is awesome), and I want to say Closer to the Edge but not entirely.
Though I will admit ABL was Jared best vocal performance, hands down.

Ok I could see those but Hurricane is definitely not auto tuned. But Kings and Queens and Stranger are still great songs.

Never said Hurricane, but that is a really good song, and Kings and Queens is a little lackluster for me. There really isn't that much in it in terms of vocal performance, though it is very well produced.

I like Kings and Queens, Hurricane, and 100 Suns for what it's worth
still more than the good song (SINGULAR) off this

Yea I know but as I said before I've heard him almost completely duplicate that song on MTV unplugged so that song is def not

If there's any autotune on TIW its not much... at his voice's peak in 2010 he could sing every song nearly perfectly live and add in a few screams to the mix.

Well, I heard it quite a few times, especially in Vox Populi

Vox Populi has a lot of the Summit vocals, didn't notice much autotune.

How can you spot the auto tune
