I honestly listen to lots of art school, weird music that's ALL the way up its own ass, as evidenced by that experimental chunk in my genre spread, so actually Trout Mask really does it for me. It's like modernist rock n' roll. Think Igor Stravinsky but kind of goofy and in a rock context. I think a lot of the polyrhythms and wacked out chord progressions are just special. Haha that shit is a HARD 5.

No, it sounds like a homeless grandpa decided to do singalong karaoke to the worlds worst blues album, that is also being played in reverse.

This grandpa is quite thirsty though, hes needs a drink of the alcoholic variety to soothe his throat from the cigars he has been chain smoking since he could hold a lighter.

At the same time he is trying to down his bottle of vodka, their are sentient crying, angry saxophones and clarinets attempting to kill this grandpa.

After grandpa was done recording his chaotic karaoke session, he decided to sell his music under the name Captain Beefaroni, but that name was taken. He eventually came up with a new name, after remembering his favorite food and his favorite organ and combining them into one.

After going through a stroll in the fish market for inspiration, Beefaroni is ready to unleash his masterpiece upon the world, and thus, Trout Mask Replica was born.
