yeah this has worn off me a lot. I'd give it a 4 now so I might rewrite parts of this.

They stripped their sound back a tad far, but it's far from stale...

Next abum should be a 4.5 for me, fingers crossed.

I really enjoyed this but the more metal parts felt a bit like they had treaded there before. But I

expect these guys to be the real deal with regards to being "progressive". Plus songs like the valley

had a monotonous mid section

"The Cloak" is pretty much the antithesis of all prog I have heard recently.

This has grown on me enough that I'm considering 4.5ing it.

Songs tend to drag, (Foe, Echo, The Valley) that's the only negative thing I'll say about this album / band.

Leprous rawks [2343534535]

Fucking hard m/, they deserve so much more recognition. Echo fucking kicks my ass! Einars voice is

"earth shattering" as a sputbro put it.

""The Cloak" is pretty much the antithesis of all prog I have heard recently."

Prog is so diverse that a lot fits under the umbrella term, and it certainly has prog elements. But

its a really good song, thats what

matters

As an Ihsahn fanboy, I'd be lying to myself if I said Contaminate Me wasn't my favorite track off this.

Its certainly grown on me. The last 3 odd intense minutes are brilliant, so much agony in ihsahns

voice. But I think Echo's my fav

The outro is incredible. Yeah I'd say Echo is my 2nd fav, and Bury would be my 3rd fav.

I haven't listened to this all the way through yet. But it definitely hasn't grabbed me like Bilateral did.

Contaminate Me is probably my favorite as well... that said, I still think White is the best closing track i've heard from them.

It certainly more focused than Bilateral but its still very good. Good to have another Leprous fan round these parts
