They certainly have their duds, but all I'm saying is that as a whole they seem to have their shit together.

Lol
at least most of their writers are more competent than like 90% of our staffers

there is a quote... something like "Your're right it would feel better, on the whole" but that's not it.

I don't agree, kind of my point.
I like that if a review is bad here the community kind of takes care of it and if it's good then the
opposite. Of course there are exceptions (like all the time) but for the most part I like this system
better.

The user base is a huge part of this site and that is a way more enjoyable format for me. Edit: I
can't think of any other review site where I can shoot the shit with Rudy or Omaha and hash out our
opinions without getting banned just because they don't like my opinion. I can do things to get banned
but not just by expressing my opinion on an album... unless you're Chan.

"learn2absolutepunk.net"
agreed.
I've read a few of pitchfork reviews before converting to sputnicism but yeah, those reviews were horrible.

We don't shoot the shit enough, Omnipanzer. We should now, considering our fairly similar avatars.
Read: I wish my avatar was yours, but with Jennifer Lawrence instead
P.S.- I'm not 16, despite what this comment implies

Jennifer Lawrence is fairly sexy, although I will always fawn over Rashida Jones and Mary Elizabeth Winstead (aka Goddess of the Universe) waaaaaaaaay more. Evan Rachel Wood used to share in this elite status, but her relationship with Marilyn Manson and guest spot on True Blood seriously irked the fuck out of me. :/

umm, nah this album kills. best from them, no doubt. I'm kinda floored that the review and this conversation haven't even touched on the production techniques here - even if you didn't like the results there's some interesting shit happening. They managed to meticulously produce without producing it into the dirt IMO... anyway, hating on it without explanation other than "critics liked it; so meh..." is just some lazy backwards hipsterology to me... also whoever they got on bari is a beast

I really feel that this album (while employing a very different sound and feel from the albums that came before it) is a pretty awesome mix of modern and classic, vintage sounds. It's different and daring, thumbs up.
