Shin-Ken has some of their best tracks tbqh and their most violent delivery yet. The production just makes it sound so damn aggressive. The guitars are top-tier and even rival Core at some moments.

Yeah, I feel bad when I call this my least favorite since it's by no means a bad album and is certainly awesome in its own right. It just happens to be the Persefone album I like less compared to their whole discography, which is miles above the discographies of contemporaries and even previous bands

I agree with MarsKid. The new album will really fill the void and keep the style of spiritual migration. My favorite songs from Shin-Ken were "Purity", "Fall to rise", "the water book", and "death before dishonuer" ;)

This album is fucking crazy. One of the most complex pieces I've ever heard. Glad to say I enjoyed it A LOT more than SM on first listen. It will take some listens to fully digest though. The last 10 minutes are utterly breathtaking.
