yeah it's basically a heavier version of that with Jesse vocals, but that's not a bad thing

Beyond The Flames reminds me of Times of Grace, and I loved that album.

I don't think I like Jesse as much now as I used to. He still nails the cleans for the most part and his screams are definitely... intense I guess would be the word, it's obvious he's really going at it, they have energy, but I feel like they lack power and range, which they definitely had on AOJB.

I always liked Howard more.

I never really liked Howard. He's definitely a very capable vocalist, just never clicked with me for whatever reason. Even if Jesse's screams don't quite sound like they used to I'm glad he's back.

I like both vocalists, but just think Howard beats him.

To be honest Times of Grace album is significantly better than this. This is a bit disappointing.

I love this band, and it's a great metal album but I could never put it above AOJB. But I must say In Due Time is one of the catchiest metal songs I've heard in a long long time and if it doesn't reach the radio I'll be thoroughly surprised and upset.

I love Times of Grace but I think after I listen to this more I'll like it more than that. Jesse just sounds so fucking killer.

Maybe it is a nostalgia thing but it seems clear to me that The Hymn of a Broken Man is much better

than this album. It mixes things up often and the melodies in it are just better. Jesse is great in

both albums.

Times of Grace is better than this. It really feels like a complete album, this is just a collection of solid 3 minute tracks.
