nah too much thrash on open the gates for it to be their best. this is metal in its purest form.
its cheesy, the lyrics make 0 sense, the riffs are all 5/5, the vocals are amateur but the best in all of heavy metal, the production is truer than anything of all time.
its so good that even the dumbest track on the album (feeling free again) is the best thing ever. heavy metal doesnt get any better than this

There are not two different ways to look at this album. This is the prime core of what metal is, no embelishments or additions more than pure fucking metal.
