And whats wrong with having 80 5s? Surely people who have heard thousands and thousands of albums can pick 80 that they really really like. I mean Godspeed, Brand New, and Slipknot are in a league of their own of course but Im talking about all the other merely mortal bands.
Its just a very dumb system. What to you is "average" since that is the benchmark of all rating systems.

80 5s is dumb cos no one can have that many albums they truly treasure and it sacrifices distinguishing really excellent albums from life changeing ones for distinguishing between bad albums which is tedious and useless so my system is better than everyone else's fuck you
