Herman Li for president.... and uh Sam as well.
I have watched the video of "Through The Fire And Flames" about 46 times on roadrunner's website and would now kill for this album! The tempo and the shredding can make your fricken head explode with musical pleasure (for me anyway).
great review.

Great review. I have a lot of respect for Dragonforce, and this is a solid album, it just seems too samey to me.

I finally bought this album, and I am loving it. The only problem I have with it is all the songs pretty much sound the same with only a few diffrences.

good stuff, but hard to tell the difference between different tracks, at least until youve gievn it several listens.

i had my brother listen to it, and he kept asking me "is this still the same song?"

superb musicianship though

You rather surprise me Iluvatar. Iron Maiden hugely influenced Power Metal, and you dont like them too much. Kinda weird.

He commented on my "Number of the Beast" review and said he has a distaste for them.

They're among the greatest metal bands of all time for a reason. Each member is an amazing talent, and yes, even the bassist. Excellent guitarists, singer and drummer as well. I get into The Mars Volta and you get into Iron Maiden, oks?

When I told my friend that one of the guitarists was an Asian (not sure like Japanese, Chinese, etc.), and laughed.

He stopped laughing when he heard them play. This Message Edited On 07.09.06

Fear not, it took me a while to get the whole cheesy part of power metal. Going from listening to nu-metal to power metal all the time is quite a drastic change, but I got used to it. And now it's probably my favorite genre of metal!

I'm bummed that I'll be out of town when Dragonforce comes by.
